The Youth ClubOur youth club meets on Wednesday's from 7.30 to 9.00. This gives our children an opportunity to mix away from both school and the rigours of Sunday morning. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the usual youth club type games are availiable.
Once a month youth club starts with a youth mass. This features computer controlled music and to put it mildly is a little more raucous than typical worship at church.
Many other events also feed into the youth club. Recently these have included Coombe Abbey and Pizza, an afternoon at Offa House, football matches and lots more.
The youth club is now a joint venture with St. Lukes Holbrooks, and there is no charge and all are welcome. Once a year the youth club joins many other Christians at the Walsingham Youth Pilgirmage at the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham. This is a wonderful opportunity for our youngsters to meet other Christians, to enjoy lively worship and to enter into all the fun of getting soaked in your tent.
